Opel Auto’s Wire Harness Division operates from state-of-the-art facilities in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and IMT Manesar, Haryana, catering to the Automotive & Industrial (A&I) sectors. Equipped with advanced machinery from Komax, Jam, Bozwang, Korisung Sai Paradise, and Regenato, we efficiently manage diverse production needs, from low-volume, high-mix to high-volume, low-mix manufacturing.
Our expertise spans cable harness assembly, advanced joining techniques, and high-precision testing equipment development. Our wire harness assembly processes include automatic wire cutting, crimping (automatic and manual), rotary stripping, ultrasonic welding, and intricate assembly operations.
With a commitment to innovation and operational excellence, Opel Auto delivers customized, reliable, and cost-effective wiring harness solutions tailored to industry needs.
Opel Auto’s Moulding Facilities feature 5+ injection molding lines with capacities ranging from 50 to 100 tons, enabling the production of precision-molded parts from 0.5 grams to 1 kilogram with exceptional accuracy. Our expertise in insert molding, multi-shot molding, over molding, and vertical injection molding gives us a competitive edge in delivering high-quality components. We process a wide range of high-grade engineering and commodity polymers, including Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT), Polyamides (Nylon 6 and 66), Polypropylene (PP), Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS), and Polyoxymethylene (POM), ensuring reliable and efficient manufacturing solutions.
With over 20 years of experience in the stamping industry, Opel Auto has established itself as an expert in producing a wide range of metal stamping components, handling thicknesses from 0.4mm to 6mm. Our facility is equipped with both powered and pneumatic stamping presses, with capacities ranging from 5 tons to 150 tons. We specialize in processing materials such as CRCA, copper, brass, tinned brass, and ERW tubes, ensuring high precision and quality across various specifications.
A Linear Solenoid is an electromagnetic device that converts an electrical signal into a magnetic field, creating linear motion. This process efficiently transforms electrical energy into mechanical force, enabling both pushing and pulling actions.
At Opel Auto, we promote import substitution by designing and developing solenoid coils and electromagnetic sub-assemblies. This approach reduces delivery times, lowers inventory costs, and improves overall cost efficiency.
We specialize in developing and redesigning coils and coil assemblies, incorporating features like enhanced force, lower power consumption, and space-saving designs to optimize the performance of your equipment.
Opel Auto has developed specialized internal testing facilities to thoroughly assess and evaluate Wire Harnesses, Moulded Parts, and Press Components before they are approved for mass production. Our testing processes include electrical testing, pull load testing, crimp profile analysis, component profile analysis, high voltage testing, as well as hot and cold temperature testing. Additionally, we perform resistance and voltage drop measurement testing to ensure that every product meets the highest standards of quality and reliability before being released for production.
Opel Auto has set up dedicated internal lab facilities for the assessment and evaluation of Wire Harnesses, Moulded Parts, and Press Components before they are approved for series production. Our testing equipment includes a Crimp Profile Analyzer from Mercury Electronics, a Vertical Measuring System (VMS), and Pull Load Testers from Sai Paradise and Imada, among others. These advanced tools ensure accurate and reliable testing, supporting our commitment to delivering high-quality products.
